Second Xarelto Bellwether Trial Win by the Defendants

On June 12, 2017, a New Orleans federal jury awarded a defense verdict to Bayer and Janssen in the second bellwether trial in 15,000-case litigation over severe health complications allegedly caused by their drug Xarelto. This is the second time the drug manufacturers win in the multi-district litigation.
There are two more trials scheduled in Federal Court in New Orleans, with the third one being set for August 2017.
